Since 2015, She Productions has been on a mission to Engage, Inspire and Empower through bold, accessible, and entertaining theatre.
We’re a female led, East Riding of Yorkshire based theatre company creating pop-up family musicals, original productions, and outreach projects that reflect and uplift our communities. From libraries and schools to hard to reach rural areas, we believe theatre should be for everyone - especially those who might not otherwise experience it.
Our work celebrates Northern female voices, nurtures emerging talent, and tackles social issues head on. We’re passionate about creating theatre that reflects the people and places we serve, making sure every voice has the chance to be heard and every story has a place on our stage.

The Girlfriends
In 2015, She Productions met The Girlfriends. The extraordinary parallels between the two groups set our new musical It’s Different For Girls in motion. As the show developed, national media jumped on the bandwagon and The Girlfriends even performed on BBC The One Show with former Spice Girl, Geri Horner as their frontwoman.
We are continually humbled by these incredible women through their generosity and support and we are so proud to be able to share their story and most importantly have them as our friends.
