Alice Rose Palmer
Alice is an Actor and Singer from Hull
Alice's theatre credits include How to Be Brave (Other Lives Productions), Toad on the Wolds (East Riding Theatre), Under Milkwood (East Riding Theatre), Bombshells (She Productions), Hilda and The Northern Powerhouse (Kate Hainsworth), A Life of My Own, (Single Story Theatre), Earworm (Single Story Theatre, Heads Up Festival), Don Jon (Silent Uproar Productions).
Alice is a founding member of She Productions and Co-Artistic Director of the Company. Since 2015, Alice has performed in and co-written sell out cabaret show Beverley does Broadway, The Three Kingdoms, The Lightless Pumpkin, The StorytEllas, Miss-Cast, Honey I Stereotyped the Kids, Beverley Does Broadway: The Rebound, sell-out new musical It’s Different For Girls, The Fairy Who Fell Off The Christmas Tree, The StorytEllas Web Series, Pirates of Christmas Island, The Wise Women and Bauble Town.
Annie Kirkman
Annie is an actor and singer from Beverley who trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy

Caitlin Townend
Caitlin is a Hull actor currently based in Manchester who trained at The London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT).
Previous to LSMT, Caitlin attained a First-Class Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Theatre at The University of Central Lancashire. During her studies she was also a member of the University’s award winning Chamber Choir (BBC Adult Choir of the Year) for three consecutive years.
Caitlin is also an original member of The Godber Theatre Foundation, a hand picked selection of Hull and East Yorkshire Actors and Creatives by the renowned playwright John Godber and the team of The John Godber Company.

Creative Team

Elizabeth Godber - DIRECTOR
Elizabeth Godber is a Hull-born theatre maker. She studied BA Creative Writing and English at the University of Hull, and then MA Writing for Performance and Publication at the University of Leeds and she also holds a PgCert in Postgraduate Research.
Elizabeth's adaptation “The Comedy of Errors (More or Less)” for Shakespeare North Playhouse and The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough was nominated for a UK Theatre Award 2023.
Elizabeth’s directing credits include: “Beverley Does Broadway 2023”, “The Remarkable Tale of Dorothy Mackaill” (Hull New Theatre),
“Forget Me Not” (BBC Radio 6 Music), “The Way You Look Tonight” (BBC Upload Festival/iplayer), “Does This Make Sense?” (Random Acts for Channel 4), and “Restless Verse” (Online) amongst others.
Elizabeth is also passionate about dementia-awareness and dementia-friendly theatrical work, and with her company “Smashing Mirrors Theatre”, she has toured productions that teach about dementia and for those living with dementia across the UK.

Alison Shaw - ASSISTANT PRODUCER
Alison is a local actor who trained at Drama Studio London.

Alison has worked in theatre, a familiar face on the stage at East Riding Theatre - Christmas Carol, Toad on the Wolds, How To Be Brave, Around The World in 80 minutes, PlayLab 1, 2 and 3. She has also appeared in Strong Girls Club (SheFestDigital2020), Performance Poet (Royal Court), Cream (Courtyard Theatre), A Woman Alone (Brockley Jack).

Her screen work includes BBC’s Uncanny, Reparation, Baaaaa!, Mercy, ITV Fixers, The End (Film Four) and this winter she will be filming for Netflix.
​
Alison is the founder of Young Playwrights, an East Yorkshire-based company dedicated to giving young people a voice in the arts and the opportunity to explore theatre-making.
​
This is Alison's first experience of producing and she is loving the challenge and the opportunity to work with the whole She Productions' team again on such a joyous and uplifting piece of theatre.

Natalie Walker - MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Natalie was born and raised in East Yorkshire. She graduated from The University of Hull in 2014 with a BA in Music and Theatre and has been working professionally as a musician since 2009. She is one of the founders of the Warblers choirs in Goole, and has worked as a facilitator and performer with accessible musical theatre company Castaway Goole since 2016. Her biggest passion is theatre and she has enjoyed work as a performer and MD with companies including Middle Child, Snappy Operas, Pick Me Up Theatre and the national tour of Beyond the Barricade.

Natalie's previous work with She Productions includes MD for Beverley Does Broadway in 2022 and 2023, The Pirates of Christmas Island in 2022, The Three Wise Women in 2023 and Bauble Town in 2024. She is delighted to be returning to the stage with She Productions for Beverley Does Broadway and The Fairy who Fell off the Christmas Tree 2025!

Ruby Stevenson - CHOREOGRAPHER
Ruby started dancing at the age of 2 at the Fleur Elizabeth Academy of Dance,
where she now works as a teacher; teaching ballet, tap, modern, and acro.
Whilst completing her degree in Sociology at Durham University, dance and teaching remained a focus, culminating in winning both Northern and National competitions for her choreography.
Once Ruby completed her degree, she came back to dance teaching, and is completing her qualifications with the ISTD, alongside supporting her students on their dance journey, and choreographing for shows and productions.
Ruby is thrilled to be working with She Productions as the choreographer on their smash-hit musical comedy Beverley Does Broadway 2025.


Amy Garstang - TECHNICAL STAGE MANAGER
​Amy studied Theatre Production at Bath Spa University.
After graduating she moved to Cardiff and started her career at Cardiff New Theatre as a technician working with various touring companies, specialising in lighting. She then moved to Hull Truck Theatre developing her skills further working on in house productions, before a brief side step into wedding and event planning at the Manor Rooms. She then went back into Theatre as Head of Technical and Production Manager at East Riding Theatre. Amy then took the leap into the freelance world and worked for Crossroads Pantonimes, One Off Productions and Hessle Theatre Company.
Amy took on a new challenge, becoming a full time mum and moved towards launching her own business RGBeloved, creating personalised gifts for all occasions as well as supporting local businesses with their uniform and promotional merchandise - including the fancy new She mugs and bags on sale today!!! Amy's love of theatre continues, and she always jumps at the chance to return to Theatre. Amy is thrilled to be working with She Productions again.

Esther Snelling - WIG DESIGNER
Esther trained as a wigs, hair, makeup and prosthetics artist at Arts University Bournemouth, graduating in 2022. She has a passion for theatre and wig work and loves bringing characters to life on stage and screen. She's thrilled to be part of the team for this 10th anniversary edition of Beverley Does Broadway!
Earlier this year, Esther had the privilege to be part of the WHAM team involved in the showcase performance of 'Come Alive: The Greatest Showman Experience' broadcast live on 'Britain's Got Talent'!
Her other theatre work includes, Jack Frost's Christmas Wish (Pocklington Arts Centre, 2024), Confusions (East Riding Theatre, 2024), Toad on the Wolds (East Riding Theatre, 2023), Under Milk Wood (East Riding Theatre, 2023), Peaky Blinders, The Rise (Immersive Everywhere, 2023), and The Shakespearience (Ravenscourt Arts Theatre, 2022).
While theatre is her main vocation, Esther has also worked in other mediums, including a range of short films, and most recently a photoshoot for the album cover of 'Peanuts' by Liz Lawrence.


Hannah Levy - PR & COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
​Hannah read Drama at The University of Manchester

Hannah is the PR and Community Fundraiser at She Productions, where she leads on building partnerships, developing outreach, and securing support to ensure the company’s work reaches as many people as possible. From heading up campaigns like 'Pay It Forward' and 'Sponsor a Show' to growing She Productions' regional and national presence, Hannah works to make theatre and storytelling accessible, inclusive, and impactful for all.
A founding member of She Productions in 2015, Hannah rejoined the company as a Trustee in 2020 and served as Chair of the Board until 2024. She now plays a key role in the company’s leadership team, supporting its mission to engage, inspire, and empower local audiences.
Outside of her work with She Productions, Hannah is the creator of Storytime with Hannah & Patrick, producing innovative literacy projects on stage, screen, in and for the community, alongside her co-host Patrick the sausage dog.
